heyhey! today is boxing day! yayay lets box! uh haha. yeah its also the first death anniversary for those who died in the tsunami. :( yeah we all wish it never happened. but it sure did show the nicer side of everyone out there. the nicer part that helped all the victims and their families. yeah i believe everyone has a softer side. but today in the 21st century... things are a-changing. so maybe we should all take things in our stride. :)ooh yeah yesterday was christmas!! wooohooo! my fav season of the year! lets see.. hmm i like christmas because its the time i remember what our father in heaven has done for us, by sending down his only son. ahhh... and of course the prezzies!!! muahahaha!!! oh too bad ming and enen and chin and yunnie wasn't there to celebrate it with us... hm they were in canada! heeehee! oh speaking of prezzies, let me see what i've got!!!2 pencil cases! yay! heyyy its christmas eve!! yayy! my fav time of the year is here again!! woohoo!! just finished writing the christmas letters to my friends in church. hmhm. christmas gives me a feeling of warmth even though its sooo cold out there. hehe! yea reno's done up too. nice bedroom!!! =) yay and i'm in the same school as sarah! and its like, my dream school. SCGS! yay! i'm soo happy! i like my uniform too! its plain blue but nice. christmas is the season when everyone should turn the scraggly side away and happiness abound! heheh i read tt frm somewhere. tis the season to be profound. aha! lifes been pretty good. 2 days ago was my family christmas get-together. it was cool seeing lois again after some time. and yesterday was the FG christmas party at my (new) house. ugh. matthew. aiya nvm him laa. although he's childish for a 8 yr old. and irritating. argh.. hmm sarah was here yesterday, after meeting her in my future schl. scgs.. hehe. yea met nadiyah and yingying from my primary school there. and stephanie and teri frm church. hm but i think teri pretended to not have seen sare and i. huh so bad. hmm next yr i've a new cca, schl, environment blahblahblah. hmhm. heyhey. finally the renovations are [almost] finished! wooohoo!! new place liao. ha! wynne is finally back!! yess!! ok now she's pretty disgusted by a certain jl. like, who wouldn't? ha! kingkong the movie's out alrdy. yay! i really wanna watch it lehh. good visual effects. next wk my cousin might be shiftng over. actually she's much older than me. she's like my mom's age. i shan't go on abt tt now. btw, like the skin? ha i like it. jia helped me to choose it. watched legally blond yesterday. elle woods is like, really bimbotic! anyway now lotsa ppl call me bimbo. guess it matches me. haa. let's see the top 10 reasons i'm a bimbo:

heyhey. cos i really, really wanted to do this write up on YC '05 for the 'Charlotte times' so.. here it is!
Day1. Check-In
yay! i was like, the first person in my level who checked in. haa. i was in my dorm at 4:30. so waited until 7pm before all my friends one by one checked in. so what did i do? urm.. just sit around and stone, stare at my toes,[seriously i did tt], and read 8days[i bought it earlier on]. then hungry so i went to 7-11. bought food and water. dinner was frm macs. oh yeah i didn't hang out w my sis cos she had a camp comm meeting. which was also why i was dragged over so early. hee. we got into our team grps. praiotes rawks!!! wooohooo! it means meekness BTW. lets see.. who was in my grp? hmm. i'll add an adjective/phrase so you'll know them better. hmm. alyssa the cheery leader. xuanwei the talented pianist. [he played this song called the autumn crocus or smth. was it summer?] jia yun the cutie!! haaa. [she is sosososo sweet laaa.] huixin the sickly dearie. binkai the crazy eater. [seriously. he eats a lot. and i mean a lot.] jasper the creative cutie. [he is really creative. and cute.] peide the born leader. bryan who is like, forever looking tired. but he's funny. ben twoon the inventive. mel huang the quiet. jia yu the active. jingting the adorable. and me? charlotte the bimbotic. haaaa! okok. we played some really fun ice-breakers. worship was cool! then time to catch some Zzzzzzs.
Day2. Creation.
hmhm. woke up early. seemed that everyone had an alarm going off. didn't sleep well. but what better way then to wake up then 5BX!! hehe. todays was led by nick. [mels cuz] whoa. really gets ya up. push-ups, star jumps, superman[i don't wanna think of it man. it was tufffff!] then breakfast! bread and topping(s) of choice. i ate kaya. hmm. the 'flavours' were butter, peanut butter, kaya and strawberry jam. deee-lish. then we [praiotes] split ways to go to either the science center or the botanic gardens. i, for one, wanted science center more than anything. but i was to take care of sweet, innocent lil' jingting. she's really cute. so booohoo! i exchanged places with jasper who wanted to go to the science center. yeah the objective of the trip wad to get some info to show that a maker is real, and not by evolution tt everything was created. yadayada. it was pretty cool. but hot! aiyohh. after the main bit which ting and i really didn't understand, [i still think evolution is all abt the monkey thingy] walked around the garden with peide who explain most of it. came back kinda cranky cos it was like 3hrs off my normal lunch time and i still hadn't had lunch. got back to church wet and tired. [it rained] and hungry! nibbled binks fries. he had bought a meal and 3 boxes of fries. so ting ang i helped him finish the last box. sorta. the presentation was really cool. jasper did this amazing DNA thingy out of plasticine. everyone agreed it was like, the best bit of our presntation. [jellybean gave us a star cos she loved it!] bryan did most of it. he and peide. changed my shirt to the YC shirt. so big and comfy! haha. followed by the wet games.. i hit edwin!!! yes!! jia was so happy. after all i am her potato. must potate her! then was bath time! and dinner. nasi lemak i think. then worship and sermon. mags did the 'sermon', but according to her, it's more like a talk. yeah. it was pretty meaningful for me. I am special! you are special! yayyy! all the grps did this invention thingy. my fav was the 'honey turn it off!' cos their prez was real funny! in the end we started talking abt it almost everyday. haa! watched a cute video. then nighty-nite!
Day3. Sin.
yayy! had a good nite's rest. woke up almost late thou. 5BX was by YuQuan. kinda slack compared to the other days. o yaa. got my nickname bimbo the other day. cos i was really bimbotic. yadayada. war games!!! wooohooo!!! was really fun but wet la. maori's rawk!! we won!! tied actually, but who cares! yayayaya. then cos we were all wet we went for a bath. played a game called atlantis. was abit boring. in the end ting and i were begging ppl to kill us. then watched some pretty affecting videos.. i was pretty freaked by them. then dinner follwed by sermon by gabriel, weien's friend. was interesting and set me thinking. then my grp did supper! yayyy! ok we prepared supper. fineee. was fun bonding with the grp! then things got kinda serious. mock-court time. yun, ting and i were a little scared. but when weien put on the mop on his head and sleeping bag as a jacket things got lighter. tt was pretty ridiculous. but one by one we got our charges. we are guilty!!! after my first charge, i wasn't so worried. can't believe i actually could sit behind and laugh with jasper and bin kai. then the 2nd charge... then it was finally over. tmrw would be our punishments. sighhh. gdnitey!
Day3
punishment day. but all of us were given a chance. get a total of 1000 points playing a buncha games, or get the punishment. but 1000 was like the perfect score. as in , if you get no.1 for everything. grp bonding! yayy! we all got closer. but i like the 2nd half of the games better. the best of the best, it was called.
1. person with the most posessions. amanda-mae
2. most talented. my grp won 3rd place cos xuan wei played autumn crocus.
3. poularity. edwin zeng won. my grp didn't even participate cos no one had friendster. haa.
4. project runway! the best-looking frm each grp i think. male and female. jasper and me went for our grp. ya although we didn't win, it was really fun. frm the clothes, the accessories to the synchronised walk and bimbotic hair flick. hehe! it was fun!!! jasper looked really cool with his hair all gelled up. and i? i dunno lah.. but we had fun and tts wat counts! hehe. we were waiting for our turn and laughing at the others. i noticed tt the majority of the partipants were p6 gals and the sec2 hunks. ok not hunks. paired together? dunno. almost my whole dg went! yayy! anyway in the end no one could get 1000 points. [impossible as i said.] soo the punishment. our punishment was to dump 3 days worth of rubbishy on each other. but wei en took all our punishments. he got mopped on the face by all the grp members frm eirene. got leftover food slopped. 3 days worth of rubbish dumped on him. i felt really bad doing it. i almost cried, k. he ate 33 lemon slices. he did 200 push ups. [though he couldn't tahan and asked for the last 55 to be situps.] got eggs thrown on him. ate 11 cups of butter. ate 11 tablespoons of wasabi. and got caned 3 times each by the chara team members. then we went for sermon. everyone was quiet. at the end, after worship, still in the sanctuary, we were asked who wanted their lives with the lord to be renewed. i don't know how many raised their hands but i did. but when they asked us to go up and be prayed for i was hesitant. i was afraid. i don't know why. what if he won't accept me? i was wretched, as uncle soo yeong told all of us. ting went with me. to my amazement, the no. of ppl who went up, was much, much more than tt of those who raised their hands. it seemed tt my whole grp went. jeanette lee prayed for me. but when she started, her words just sank into me. i started crying and i couldn't stop. after tt, i went back to my grp and continued to cry. i felt horrible. jia and i sat there and cried, hugging each other. if i were not numbed by the whole truth, i think i would've died from embarassment cos jasper was sitting next to me. but nvm. tingting cried too. after we prayed, all of us went back. then i realised. it's the last day.
day4
last day! booohoooo!!! just when our grp started to open up. sigh. it's like when you just got ot know each other a lil' better when it all tumbles down. i think if it weren't for this camp i would nv have spoken to so many guys. or even sat w one. sighhh. it's like v ke si lor. anyway we cleaned up around and said our last goodbyes. after photo-taking, time to gooooo..... sighhh.
and tt was the end of the most amazing time away from home. can't wait for YC' 06 now! =)

heyhey! yeah i'm back from camp! yes it was the most A-ma-Zing experience out of home. lets see. everyday was something new and special. closer and closer to God. it was touching, enjoyable and simply da bomb. yeah. okie. cos i've spent some time fixing up my new blogskin. sooo... todays entry will be -kachakk!- cut short. heh heh. jia calls this the charlotte times cos its soo long compared to theirs. hee. hil may and yeng wai got married today!!! yayy! the day we've all been awaiting. they're like, a wayy cute couple. he's soooo tall and she's well, petite. but they are one God-fearing couple and a real role model for all of us out there. hmm. i think this song doesn't match with the skin lehhh. give me tips k ppl! yea tmrw i'll do up the links and new song. give me your expertise advice kaes?!? thanks alotta!
