HELLO.
yesterday i went looking at other peoples blog.
and i realised that i blog reeeaaally little.
so i shall type alotalot today!
today was baptism sunday.
jia and nette and yihui and sabby and mingming got baptised.
ithinkishallgetbaptisedsoon.oh yeah and i made my own little heart-shaped soap for them!
YAY (:
i personalised them with macaroni alphabets.
SO GENIUS, HUH?
haha.
i was so proud of myself too.
cos it came out pretty cool.
at first when they cooled,
icouldn'ttakethemouttathemould!i was like, so disappointed laa.
UGHH.
think i almost cried.
then, i popped it in the freezer cos i thought they would expand at 4degrees like mrs kee said.
and my mommy checked the hobby sites,
and it said
PUT YOUR MOULDS IN THE FREEZER!!!
-victorydance-
haha.
but my idea was all wrong.
cos they said the condensation in the freezer will pop it out.
anyway...
viola!
prettypretty heart-shaped, rose-tinted soap!
yay!
lemme teach you how to make your own(:
you need: clear soap (from most hobby shops)
soap/jelly moulds
soap dyes
a metal cup
a wooden chopstick
help!
1. melt the soap (cut up into small bits and placed in the cup) in boiling water
2. use a small bit of colour dye and mix it in with the chopstick
3. pour it into the moulds
if you wanna do the macaroni names thing like i did,
4. fill the mould only 1/3
-let it cool-
5. pop in the macaroni alphabets (remember to put it mirror-image side up)
6.pour the rest in
if your macaroni alphabets go out of position, which it is most likely to,
use a toothpick to poke it back before it dries!
when the soaps are dry,
pop it in the freezer for abt 15 minutes
the result?
prettypretty soap which you will forever be proud of and will cherish!
haha. i feel like some weirdo.
oh well.
gonna finish watching she's the man on youtube:)
BYE!
