i love christmas <333wheee oh yes i do!
it never fails to make me feel warm and fuzzy all over.
christmas has that effect on me.
and i so love it!
well, maybe also because i love giving gifts, possibly as much as receiving them.
i don't know, but christmas this year felt more special than the past ones.
i had tons of fun working with glenn and teckjin at station one!
although when teckjin left for lunch i realised we couldn't cope as well.
but we did it!
it was super funny too!
and helping out at lunchtime:)
glenn and his fresh-fat-french-fries!
it was super fun working with him,
so i guess i really really enjoyed myself this christmas.
plus all those gifts and cards!
loads of thanks to all you guys!
i really loved the stuff you guys gave me,
and reading those super sweet cards:)
thank you everyone who made christmas so special for me!

on a different note:
i guess looks really are deceiving.
when i first met glenn i was really worried about working with him
i mean, he looked so poser-ish and dao and whatever
i guess i gave him quite a hard time at first.
but i he really is a nice guy deep down inside.
funny too!
and for the record, a good brother.
surprised?
so am i.
i guess its probably the same with most guys.
jia han says ben's a good guy.
i suppose he is.
all guys are.

WHEEEEE!
yes yes i love baking:)
i just finished baking a batch of meringues!
although they don't really look like the ones in the book,
i do hope they taste great!
:D
ohoh! i finished packing most of my christmas presents!
yay!
i feel so accomplished today!
cards all written,
gifts packed,
and even manged to do some baking,
with the rest of the day to rest!
am i good or what?
haha:)
yay i shall share the recipe for baking the meringues!
you need:
2 egg whites
100g of caster sugar
50g of chocolate chips
1. melt the chocolate chips using a double boiler, or by placing them in a heatproof container over bubbling hot water
2. whisk your egg whites until they get stiff. (this step took me a very long time, so be patient)
3. add the sugar in by heaped teaspoons, whilst whisking it all.
4. drizzle in the melted chocolate, stirring once or twice to give it a marblelized effect.
5. pop it into the oven, preheated at 110 celcius, for 40 minutes.
VOILA!
swirly meringues all waiting to be eaten!
p.s. they make good christmas presents when placed in a pretty jar!
