so pretty right?

today i did my talk about justin timberlake vs franz schubert!
haha it was super funny.
i think it went quite well,
other than the fact that my hand kept moving.
and i didn't realise it until stephanie pointed it out!
i did it subconciously. ok?

BOO my whole hcl class can't (or won't) forget laoshi's stupid joke!
so embarrassing luhh.
but i did study for tingxie!
not my fault she gave us a whole bunch of different words.

this is how her 'joke' went:

laoshi: yesterday's tingxie wasn't good.. i want those who failed to stay back tmrw to re-test!
(starts reading names)
ZIWEI! ni mei you xue ting xie! ling dan! (charlotte! you did not study, right? zero!)
ME: WHATTT.
laoshi: shi ah! ni yan jing zhang dao zhe me da zuo shen me? (yes! why do you widen your eyes so BIGG)

the thing is, i didn't even WIDEN my eyes.
whats her problem lah. got a problem with BEEEGG EYYEESS?
anyway.
the class laughed like nuts!
and i don't even know if it was because of the zero or the big eye thing.

but now i studied reallyreallyreally hard i got everything memorised out!
and i got like 90% correct.
i think.

but now everyone goes, 'WHAAA CHARLOTTE, YOUR EYES SO BIG!'
aughh.
and stephanie calls them fishballs.
uhhuh.

ANDANDAND!
choir syf auditions are next friday!
i reallyreally wanna get in!
so i have to drink loads of water and cut down on meepok intake.
and extra choir practices during recess!
as initiated by sarah tan.
sigh.
its gonna take lots of hard work.
but it'll be worth it.

WHEEEEEEE I LOVE CHOIR!
haha i feel really lame.
today we had choir!
and we went through songs for syf :D
and it was reallyreally fun!
don't know why though.
mayann and i were eyeballing vera half the time.
until i burst out laughing while singing halfway through!
ahhhh.
so embarassing.
haha but so fun!

choir auditions on monday!
so GOGOGO!
over a hundred people signed up:D
damn thats cool.
i think it was like that too last year.
ahhh.
but only around 20 get in.
ohwell.

yay my dad got tickets for the phantom of the opera!

but i'm still sad.
i'll be having choir practices during june.
so i can't go for camp!

second day of school!
sigh.
i do miss my old class. a lot.
but i guess i have to move on.

we all do.

no more living in the past.
no more whining about how hard it is to fit in.

if its hard for you,
how easy can it be for me?
i'm stuck in a class with people i've never spoken to in my life.
and i think i'm doing ok.

i say it was a pretty good year.
i guess.
new school, new friends.
i adapted quite well.
quite fast.

2006 passed like a whirlwind.
too fast, taking away many things.
all the joy, laughter, tears.
and hope.
but i'm sure everything is still remembered.
it is for me.

HELLO 2007.
new class. new friends.
and the cycle begins again
